Online STEM & Humanities Tutoring That Builds Real Understanding

Expert low-pressure STEM tutoring

Hi, I’m Tyler. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut and began tutoring while in college, helping fellow students, serving as a teaching assistant, and co-founding a small math club. Being proactive about learning-both my own and my students’—has shaped how I approach tutoring from the start.

I’ve spent several years tutoring students from early elementary through upper-level college, both independently and in academic settings. I’m especially comfortable with algebra, geometry, and calculus, but I enjoy working across a wide range of subjects. Students I’ve worked with have gone on to attend schools including Cornell, Bowdoin College, Dartmouth and Boston University.

If you’re looking for a supportive, low-pressure tutoring environment with a focus on real understanding and steady progress, I’d be happy to help.

Humanities help without the headache

Hey, my name is Ari. I graduated from Wesleyan University in 2022 with degrees in Psychology and Hispanic Literatures and Cultures. I’ve worked with students in many different contexts, including serving as a language assistant in Spain, teaching social psychological concepts to an international cohort of learners, and leading workshops on sustainable agriculture and ecology.

I am particularly passionate about helping students with the Spanish language, psychology and counseling, and music and creativity, but I am also excited to tailor our tutoring sessions to your needs and interests. I bring a friendly, playful energy, and a strong work ethic. Continuously learning has been one of the great joys of my life, and I love supporting students on their journey.

Tyler does an excellent job breaking down math step by step. My child is much more confident in Pre-Calculus and finally feels equipped to succeed.
