Follow the reasoning step by step

Find the surface area of a 4 cm by 3 cm by 2 cm rectangular prism.

  1. Use SA = 2(lw + lh + wh).
  2. Compute face areas: 12, 8, and 6.
  3. Add 12 + 8 + 6 = 26.
  4. Double for opposite faces.

Solution: 52 cm².
